The performances of Andrés Morales DJ are synonymous of fun and dancing. They immerse you in a dance session with tracks ranging from funky to house. For sure you’ll be surprised by songs you haven't heard in years, searching through remixes and edits to give a twist to the usual tunes.
To put a label on his music, we could say that his style is funky breaks or ghetto funk, as latin breaks and funky house as well. But don't be surprised if all-time pop, rock, reggae, drum and bass, dance and house songs are included. His sets are a journey through the history of music made for dancing, taking great care on the mixes to make it seem like a long dancing song, that will awaken on your mind memorable moments of your life without being able to stop dancing.
Andrés has gone from playing at high school and university parties to share stage with artists such as Freestylers and Marshall Jefferson. His career as a DJ has mostly taken place in Tenerife, with performances at the following festivals: Closing Summer, Arenanegra, Minimal Summer, Tropicalia, Flashback and Ecofest. It is worth mentioning his participation (sixth consecutive year) at the English festival Shindig Weekender (organized by the label Ghetto Funk), which was awarded in 2016 as the best Boutique Festival in the United Kingdom.
So put on comfortable shoes and clothes, hydrate well and open your mind and body to his dance rhythms...
