I’ve been playing music to the public for forty years starting out with spinning tunes at family parties before moving onto birthday parties and weddings with my brother and friends building modest speakers to give the all important boast to the bass. During an extended period in London I was introduced to the rare groove scene spending many nights at the Wag club and crazy warehouse parties.
Returning to Sheffield in the 90s I spent a decade on pirate radio and started playing in clubs and bars. I still play a mix of Soul, Funk, Disco, R&B and a touch of Reggae in Sheffield bars. I have also recently returned to the radio via the wonderful medium of the internet.
I have an eclectic taste in Black music which includes Jazz alongside the above list.
